The Maryland Education Credit alliance believes that every family should have the opportunity to provide the best possible K-12 education for their children. This may mean the local public school for some families, private school for others, and tutoring and special education services for many others. To ensure that all students can reach their full potential--regardless of their economic circumstances--we are working to help Maryland families gain access to new education resources.
Parents and students have a vested interest in the success of the Maryland Education Credit! If passed, this legislation would provide eligible public and nonpublic school students with financial assistance to cover:
- Tuition and fees (for private school enrollment)
- Books, supplies, and equipment
- Academic tutoring
- Special needs services for a special needs student
- Uniforms (if required by the school)
- Transportation
- Computer technology, equipment, or Internet access
To pass the Maryland Education Credit, we need all Maryland parents and students to make their voices heard. Here is how you can help:
- Tell your neighbors, colleagues and school community about the Maryland Education Credit and encourage them to visit this website to learn more.
